We have decided to use our collective knowledge and expertise to share a list of the top ESports bookmakers. Our team have spent time using each of the major online ESports betting sites to share this information with the community.
We have personal experience working within Europe's top bookmakers and therefore know how to find the best odds and identify market weakness.
Alongside our regular tips, this list will help you get the most bang for your buck! Follow our reviews and try the websites out for yourselves, to find the best fit for you.
Most importantly, make sure to take advantage of the new customer offers. ESports betting sites want you as a customer, make sure they earn your custom! I can't tell you how much our team make from signing up to new bookmakers and maximising the new customer deals.
Bet365 are the worlds largest online bookmaker and, as such, are one of the earliest "big players" to start offering markets on ESports. Their website is simple and easy to use yet they offer a wide array of tools to make your betting experience better. They cover ample markets for League of Legends, DotA 2, SC2, CS:GO and COD - you'll notice they do not yet offer a Hearthstone market. They offer unlimited free withdrawal that take 2-3 working days to hit your bank (we received ours in less than 24 hours!).
They also have a great Opening Account Offer where new customers can get up to £100 in Bet Credits!
As always, there are significant terms (listed below:
Expert Opinion - "Bet365 is nice and easy to use and they offer the cash-out facility on most ESports betting. They have a lot of markets for League of Legends yet they primarily offer win markets for most other games, that aren't large tournaments. They seem to cover most major tournaments and their real-time game updates are useful when waiting on bets. Unlimited & fast withdrawals are definitely a plus."
Betfair are yet another of the worlds biggest bookmakers that offers ESports markets. Their website is clean and easy to use and their ESports section is little different. They offer markets on DotA 2, HotS, LOL, CS:GO and will soon offer Hearthstone & SC2. They, like the top two, offer a wide variety of markets on the games they cover. They offer unlimited free withdrawal that take 2-3 working days to hit your bank (we received ours in 48hrs).
Expert Opinion - "I must confess, Betfair isn't a betting site that I traditionally use. They have always had a big focus on lay-betting, which never really appealed to me. For ESports they've stuck to the basics. Their ESports betting offer simple fractional or decimal markets layered on their well-worked site. After using it for a week or 2 it is easy to see why so many people use this site. They allow all usual forms of deposit including online wallets and Paypal and have free, unlimited withdrawal. Their signing up bonus is one of the best too!"
Betway offer an entire section of their website to ESports alongside their Sports, Casino, Vegas and Bingo books. While this might seem appealing to some the reality is that, other than a blog, the markets on LOL, CS:GO, DotA 2 & Hearthstone can some times be limited. They offer unlimited free withdrawal that take 3-5 working days to hit your bank (we received ours in just over 2 days).
Expert Opinion - "It is nice to have a full section for just ESports even though they don't offer a great deal, it's just easier to find and navigate the most of the other sites. Their blog is nicely written, yet only once per week. The markets are broad and show a clear understanding of the games, they are definitely one of the leaders when it comes to offered markets. They offer ESports Betting on LOL, SC2, DotA 2, Hearthstone and CS:GO. Deposit and withdrawal process was uncomplicated and they offer a 100% signup bonus."
10-bet is an established international bookmaker that offers markets on LOL, CS:GO and SC2. Their homepage is dominated by the in-play features, as are most others, but the website is easy enough to navigate for those familiar with online bookmakers. They offer all expected avenues of deposit/withdrawal with a withdrawal time of 2-5 working days (ours took 3 days).
Expert Opinion - "I like 10-Bet, they off some great existing-customer promotions and the site is well constructed. Their ESports section is lacking, to a certain degree as they do not offer a great range of games to bet on and a limited number of markets on the ones they do offer. If they were to address those issues, 10-Bet would definitely rise in this list. They offer a decent 50% sign-up bonus which you do not have to role-over 6 times before withdrawing. "
Unikrn are the only, regulated, ESports-only bookmakers. They were founded by an ex Microsoft executive, Rahul Sood, and are based in Seattle, US. Unikrn only accept deposits and withdrawals via credit/debit card which means online wallets and Paypal are a no-go but they do offer unlimited free withdrawals, taking between 2-5 business days (ours took 3 days). The site is clean and easy to navigate and has a clear focus on Esports, offering markets in LOL, DotA 2, COD, CS:GO, SC2, Smite and Hearthstone.
Expert Opinion - "The most peculiar thing about this ESports bookmakers is that their market bets seem to be quite limited in comparison to some others. I like the layout of the site as it is clean yet detailed, with betting option easy to find. The deposit/withdrawal system is in need of updating as not excepting Paypal or online wallets, such as Skrill, is frustrating as is the lack of deposit bonus. I like the idea of this site but it doesn't seem to have the experience of some of the more established bookmakers, if they act fast I can see this capturing a decent market share."
Best new customer offer - Frustratingly, Unikrn currently has no new customer offers.
William Hill are another world leader, when it comes to online betting. They offer a easy to use website that accepts most mediums of payment for deposit. They, as many other established bookmakers, have only recently started to dip their toe in the ESports betting pool and have therefore limited their selection to CS:GO, LOL, DotA 2 & SC2. They also offer unlimited free withdrawals that take 2-3 working days to hit your bank (ours took 2 days).
Expert Opinion - "William Hill are similar to Bet365 and many of the other UK online betting giants. The website is easy to navigate and the deposit functions are quick and hassle-free. They only offer win markets at the minute and for throughout our three day testing period there was no LOL markets. Withdrawals were nice and easy to process."
Ladbrokes is a big player in the world of online betting with almost a million active users of its site. It has a comprehensive fixture list for COD, LOL, CS:GO, DotA 2 and SC2 with win and handicap markets and a limited number of additional bets (usually on DotA 2). There website could be considered a little cluttered with promotions seemingly everywhere but the betting options are clear and easy to find. They offer unlimited free withdrawal that take 2-3 working days to hit your bank (we received ours in just under 2 days).
Expert Opinion - "I like Ladbrokes betting options, they have the largest library of games to bet on that I have come across. Once you get used to the website it's easy enough to navigate even if the red colour scheme is a bit 'in your face'. They offer the same standard markets that the majority of the other bookmakers do but as their customer base grows for ESports betting I expect the market range too. They offer a new customer bonus of 100% and except a wide variety of deposit/withdrawal methods."
Paddy Power is one of Europe's biggest bookmakers but they have been slow entering the fray, with ESports. Having recently opened their ESports section there is not much of a selection when it comes to betting. They do offer markets on LOL, HotS, SC2, DotA 2 and CS:GO but are sporadic with what they offer. The website can sometimes lag a little on mobile but is very user-friendly on desktop. They offer deposit via all traditional cards, wallets and through Paypal. Withdrawals are stated as taking up to 72 hours (ours took a little over 24 hours) and are free and unlimited.
Expert Opinion - "I feel as though I am looking at Paddy Power too early. As they have only just entered the ESports sector everything seems a bit rushed. They don't have game-specific sections, instead they have sections for every tournament/league that you can place bets on. It's all just a little messy. Paddy Power is one of my go-to betting sites for other sports and i'm hoping they spend the timme and effort to improve their ESports section but until they do, I just can't put them any higher."
Pinnacle are not the online powerhouses that some of the above are, yet they are an established online betting medium. Their site is quite bare but relatively straight forward to use and they accept deposit by a wide variety of online payment methods - notably not via Paypal though. They offer ESports betting on LOL, HotS, SC2, DotA 2, CS:GO and Hearthstone yet they are limited to win & handicap-win markets. Not available in the UK.
Expert Opinion - "I am not a fan of the website layout. It's easy enough to work, I just don't like the lack of information and irrelevant box-previews. That's not to say you wouldn't like it, it's just my personal preference. No deposit bonus and one free withdrawal per month are big no-no's for me too."
